Freshwater Village

A new double claw shade structure and outdoor furniture offers the local community a beautiful area to sit, have lunch, meet friends and enjoy a coffee in the heart of Freshwater Village.

In the idyllic Sydney beach side suburb of Freshwater, the Village Plaza was a little too sunny. Following protests of residents, Council agreed that the sun drenched Plaza needed shade and took action to improve residential amenity. A stunning 100sm shade structure shades the Plaza creating a fresh, light and happy place.

This structure has won numerous awards
- Best commercial shade structure Gold Coast Australia STA 2013
- High achievement IFAI Florida USA 2013
- Design selected for Australian Afghanistan War Memorial in Cairns 2013. Opened by the then PM Julia Gillard.
